We are a small family business comprising of a father and daughter team, Tim and Katie Rees, based in the beautiful Gower Peninsula in South Wales. 

 

Katie began looking for seaglass as a hobby after hearing about it from a friend who enjoyed collecting it. Soon she was making a few pieces of jewellery from her finds as presents for family and friends who loved the look and the history behind such a unique gift. Soon people were asking her to make pieces for themselves and as presents and insisted on paying her for them. 

 

She then decided to try selling them in craft markets and the like and had an amazingly positive reaction to the lovely jewellery. Tim joined the team in developing the product and in finding pieces of seaglass to keep up with demand. We then looked to sell via various local outlets and again received a really positive reaction and now have an expanding network of outlets which we are keen to grow. In addition we now attend regular shows notable the Green Fayre, Gower Show and Bridgend County Show where we won an award for our stand.
